TRACIE WELCH BRENTON
President

Tracie Welch-Brenton is the founder of Marketing LOGIX, a sales and marketing company that encompasses both digital and real-world sales, integrated with marketing strategies. Tracie has more than 30 years of sales and marketing experience and has worked with hundreds of small to medium-sized businesses across a range of industries. Tracie has a passion for strengthening companies through an approach that goes beyond what others offer.

Her unique, hands-on approach to marketing and sales has helped organizations realize critical goals:

  • Bridge the divide between marketing and sales initiatives
  • Identify high-value sales opportunities and long-term customers
  • Determine true ROI on sales and marketing expenditures
  • Drive results through channel-based marketing programs

Before forming Marketing LOGIX, Tracie was the Sales and Marketing Director of the Houston Business Journal (HBJ), a publication of American City Business Journals (ACBJ). In her 18 years at the Business Journal, Tracie managed the circulation sales team, fostered relationships with professional associations  chamber of commerce, local and national media outlets. She also managed the event team who produced over 24 events annually. During her tenure, she produced testimonial campaigns for many of the publications nationally.

Tracie plays an integral role in Houston’s professional marketing community. She has served on the board of the American Marketing Association Houston Chapter as President Elect (2015-2016), President (2016-2017), Immediate-Past President (2017-1018), VP Communications (2014-2015), and CMO Leader (2017-2019). When she was Chapter President from 2016-2017, AMA Houston received Gold Chapter of the Year and was recognized as a top-performing chapter among 78 national chapters. 

She currently serves as VP of Communications for the Houston Symphony League and has also volunteered for many years for the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo World Championship BBQ as a Table Captain. In 2024, Tracie was names one of the Houston Business Journal’s Women Who Mean Business. 

Tracie also shares her expertise with entrepreneurs and executives as MOD 6 Faculty – Sales and Marketing for the Goldman Sachs 10,0000 Small Business Program and JP Morgan Chase Ascend Cities.

ROSEANN ROGERS
Marketing Strategist

Roseann Rogers is the consummate sales, marketing, and public relations professional with an extensive media background. Before moving to Nashville, she was known as “The Buzz Lady” for her many years on television and radio in the Houston market, where she held anchor, reporter, host, and producer roles.

Continuing to leverage her media expertise on the business side, Roseann held the positions of Marketing Director for KPRC-TV, as well as Sales and Marketing Director for KTBU-TV before transitioning to the corporate world. She became a sales manager for the Houston Division of Stewart Title, applying her rich media experience to drive business growth. Roseann’s brings to Marketing LOGIX a broad portfolio of experience in working with non-profits, professional services, retail, and real estate.

Roseann’s dedication to community service is notable. In Houston, she was a founding board member of Dress for Success, Houston, and served with several organizations, including the Houston Ballet Guild and the American Cancer Society Guild. She played a key role in the Junior League of Houston, overseeing marketing for the award-winning cookbook “Stop and Smell the Rosemary,” which earned her recognition through a Cancer Counseling Award for Media Excellence.

In her spare time, Roseann enjoys reading, traveling, going to the movies, and spending quality time with her family and their two Texas Tabby Cats, Max, and Oliver. She and her husband also have hosted numerous wine fundraising dinners for the Nashville Wine Auction.

MELANIE HILL
Accounting & Office Administration

Melanie has more than five years’ experience in Bookkeeping and more than 20 years’ experience in Administrative Services.  Before joining Marketing Logix, Melanie spent over 20 plus years working in Human Resource, Office Management and Administrative Services for large and small businesses including Baylor College of Medicine, Texas Children’s Hospital, & Therapy Track.

Melanie is a Houston Baptist University graduate with a Bachelorette Degree of Science with a double major in Early Childhood Education and Elementary Education.  Along with helping and nurturing others, Melanie volunteers for the Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo on two committees and RaiseUp Families along with serving on the board of the Spring Board Civic Pool & Swim Team.  With these volunteer activities children are given the chance to better their education and their lives.

BROOKE BRENTON
Digital Marketing Intern

Brooke Brenton is a dynamic Digital Marketing Intern with a knack for creativity and innovation. Currently pursuing a major in entrepreneurship and a minor in accounting at the University of Arkansas, Brooke brings over four years of hands-on experience in WordPress, graphic design, and email marketing to our team. Her academic excellence is highlighted by her consistent presence on the Chancellor’s and Dean’s lists. Brooke’s contributions to website development and email marketing strategies have already made a significant impact, showcasing her dedication and expertise in the digital marketing field.

Marketing Intern

Ally Garcia is a dynamic and driven Marketing Intern at Marketing Logix, where she consistently brings fresh, innovative ideas to the table. A proud native Houstonian, she is on her path to academic excellence as she prepares to attend the University of Houston, majoring in Marketing. With a formidable foundation in courses such as Principles of Marketing and Selling, Management, eCommerce, Business and International Marketing, and Strategy, her academic rigor has been recognized by being named on the Dean’s List. When not strategizing marketing plans or studying market trends, Ally indulges in her passions for reading and music. This balance fuels her creativity and continues to shape her as a marketer of the future.

Chief Happiness Officer

Teddy has more than 10 years (70 years in dog years) of experience in making people happy. In his spare time, Teddy enjoys going for walks, chasing squirrels, and sleeping.

Working with Us

Marketing Logix has been fortunate to attract numerous high-level advertising and marketing professionals over the years who took a hiatus for family. Working with them to acquire knowledge about the new digital tools and marketing solutions has been a rewarding experience. In our efforts to facilitate their return to the workforce, we have successfully trained and empowered many individuals. As a result, several of them now hold leadership positions within major companies. It has been an honor collaborating with such talented individuals.

An internship turned job opportunity

Article Published by Rice University: Like Riding a Bike: How This Former Marketing Professional Revamped Her Career With Rice University Boot Camps Kelly applied for an internship at Marketing Logixabout halfway through the boot camp. She was hired immediately after the interview and started working the next day.
